Peterborough Petes General Manager David Reid announced today that free agent forward Greg Betzold has committed to the team for the 2012-13 season.
Betzold, a 6’2”, 180lbs left winger who played at Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep school in Faribault, MN last season attended the Petes Orientation Camp on May 5th, 6th making a strong impression on Petes management.
"Greg is a player who has lots of potential and followed up a great year at Shattuck-St. Mary's with an excellent Orientation Camp earlier with us in May” says Petes General Manager David Reid. “Greg has an excellent mix of offensive skills, skating ability and competes hard in both ends of the rink. We are very happy that Greg has committed to play with the Peterborough Petes and we are extremely excited to see Greg skate with our veteran players during our main training camp in August."
