Mathew Robson Commits to Petes

Peterborough Petes General Manager David Reid announced today that goaltender Mathew Robson has committed to the Peterborough Petes and an OHL Education Package.  Robson, the Petes 8th round draft pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection was an OHL Cup Finalist with the Toronto Marlboros Minor Midgets in 2011-12.

Mathew is the third player from the 2012 OHL Priority Selection to commit to the Petes. (Eric Cornel and Josh Maguire are the others)

“Mathew Robson is a big, mobile goaltender who has a bright future ahead of him” says Petes General Manager David Reid.  “We are very excited that Mathew has committed to our team.”

Mathew was in Peterborough this week to work with Petes Goaltending Coach Andrew Verner as he put the goaltenders in our system (Andrew D’Agostini, Michael Giugovaz, and Keinan Brown.  Doug Johnston was unable to attend due to injury) through a series of on and off ice sessions.
