Petes and Rangers make trade

The Peterborough Petes today announced that they have traded overage forward Derek Schoenmakers to the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for overage forward Nick Czinder.  The Petes will also send a 10th round selection in 2013 while they will receive an 8th round selection in 2013 and 4th round selection in 2015 from the Rangers.

The Petes originally acquired Schoenmakers in a deal with the Windsor Spitfires in late November.

Nick Czinder is a 6’5”, 230lbs right winger from West Bloomfield Michigan.  He has recorded 20 goals and 42 points in 149 OHL games with the Rangers and Windsor Spitfires as well as 136 penalty minutes.
