The Peterborough Petes beat the Windsor Spitfires 3-1 on Jim Mahon Memorial night at the Memorial Centre.
Austin Watson opened the scoring for the Petes 10:37 into the game with a power play goal for his 10th of the season.
Matt Puempel gave the Petes a 2-0 lead 3:13 into the 3rd period for his 15th of the season but the Spits foiled Andrew D'Agostini's shut out bid at 7:30 on a goal by Zack MacQueen. Andrew Yogan sealed the deal for the Petes making it 3-1 at 13:45 with his 8th of the year.
Next action for the Petes is Friday night when they travel to Plymouth. The Petes next home game is Thursday December 1st when they host the Sarnia Sting at 7:05pm.
