Petes open Weekend with 5-1 win over Kingston

The Peterboorugh Petes opened the weekend with a 5-1 win over the Kingston Frontenacs as Alan Quine recorded 2 goals and 2 assists while Lino Martshini recorded 2 goals and an assist.  Andrew D'Agostini made 31 saves for the victory.

Nick Ritchie opened the scoring 4:36 into the game for his 11th of the season before Lino Martschini scored his first of 2 at 13:15 and 16:25.  The Frontenacs cut into the Petes lead scoring between Martschini's markers at 14:44 by Billy Jenkins.

following a scoreless second period Alan Quine went to work late in the third period knotching a pair of goal in the final 2:07 of the game making the final 5-1 for the Petes.

Next action for the Petes is Friday night in Mississauga before taking on the Generals in Oshawa on Sunday evening.  The Petes return to the Memorial Centre on Saturday February 4th to take on the Sudbury Wolves.
