Petes shutout Bulls 3-0

The Peterborough Petes shutout the Belleville Bulls 3-0 on Thursdya night as Andrew D'Agostini stopped all 42 shots he faced enroute to his second career shutout.

 

Steven Trojanovic opened the scoring on the powerplay 7:02 into the game and the Petes held a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.  

 

The Petes jumped out to a 3-0 lead with goals 40 seconds apart in the second period at 6:24 by Alan Quine and 7:04 by Connor Boland.  Boland's goal was his first career OHL goal.  

 

Assists went to Slater Koekkoek, Quine, Greg Betzold, Francis Menard and Brett Findlay.  Findlay now has 2 goals and 5 assists in four games since returning from the Christmas break.

 

The Petes now travel to Kitchener on Friday night to take on the Rangers before having the weekend off.  The Rangers will make a return visit to the memorial Centre on Thursday January 10th.
