The Kitchener Rangers handed the Petes a 2-1 loss on Thursday night at the Memorial Centre following a scoreless Period where the Petes otshot the vistors 16-8.
The Rangers built a 2-0 lead in the second period on goals by Tyler Randell and Eric Ming at 10:20 and 16:26 as the Petes continued to out shoot the Rangers 28-20 after 40 minutes.
Alan Quine solved Rangers goaltender Frnky Palazzese 11:37 into the 3rd period but Ryan Murphy stuck out his leg to block Lino Martschini from tying the game in the final minute and the Rangers went on to a 2-1 victory over the Petes. Final shot on goal were 39-24 for the Petes.
The Petes now travel to Ottawa on Friday night and host the Guelph Storm on Saturday to round out their final 3 games in 3 nights weekend of the season.
