Team White beats Team Maroon 5-1

Team White beat Team Maroon 5-1 in the Petes annual Maroon vs. White game on Saturday afternoon at the PMC.

 

Alan Quine opened the scoring for Team White with a pair of unassisted goals at 3:52 and 17:59 of the first period before Trevor Murphy got Team Maroon on the scoreboard with a powerplay marker 4:15 into the second with an assist to Reid Jackman.

 

Dylan First restored Team White's 2 goal lead comverting Chase Hatcher's centering pass to make it 3-1 after 2 periods.

 

Quine closed out the game the way he began it with a pair of goals at 18 seconds and 13:33.  Greg Betzold assisted on both goals and Cole Murduff had a assist on the final goal.

 

Next action for the Petes is Sunday afternoon when they travel to Port Credit to take on the brand new Mississauga Steelheads at 2pm.
