Team Yzerman won their second game of the intra-squad round robin action in the Peterborough Petes 2012 Training Camp with a commanding 4-1 win over Team Gainey on Thursday evening.
Team Yzerman opened a 4-0 lead on goals by Stephen Nosad, Slater Koekkoek, Reid Jackman and Steve Lorentz with assists to Peter Ceresnak, Francis Menard, Stephen Pierog, and Loren Ulett.
Matt Tugnutt scored the lone goal for Team Gainey on the power play with an assist to Clark Seymour.
Team Yzerman will now compete in the round robin intra-squad final on Friday at 6:15pm while Team Gainey will play Team Murphy at 10:45am Friday to see who will play Yzerman in the final.
