This week the Peterborough Petes play regular season games 5 and 6 as they host the Sudbury Wolves on Thursday night and travel to Barrie on Saturday night to play the Colts.

The Wolves travel to Peterborough on a 3 game losing streak after opening the season with a pair of wins. The Wolves are the most penalized team in the Eastern Conference with 87 penalty minutes.
About the Peterborough Petes – Record (1-3-0-0 2pts) Leading scorers Francis Menard (3g, 2a), Zach Lorentz (1g, 1a), Stephen Pierog (1g, 1a), Clark Seymour (1g, 1a). The Petes have been hit with the injury bug early this season. Currently Alex Robinson will miss another 2-3 weeks as he recovers from a broken jaw, Clark Seymour and Nick Ritchie are both week to week with upper body injuries while Alan Quine is week to week with mononucleosis and Connor Boland is out indefinitely with mononucleosis.
About the Barrie Colts – Record (3-2-0-0 6pts) Leading scorers Mark Scheifele (3g, 5a), Anthony Camara (5g, 1a), Zach Hall (3g, 3a), Ryan O’Connor (5a). This week, the Colts sent ex-Pete and overage defenceman Chris Buonomo to the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for a 4th round draft pick. The Colts will host the Petes on Saturday night as the Petes prior to the Petes being off until Tuesday when they host the Niagara IceDogs at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
