The Sudbury Wolves came into the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Thursday night and skated away with a 4-1 win.
The Wolves scored the lone goal of the first period on a goal by Mathew Campagna at 2:24 even though the Petes out shot the Wolves 11-5 in the period.
The Wolves made it 2-0 2:03 into the 2nd period on Josh Leivo's first goal of the game, but the Petes cut into the lead at 5:54 when Stephen Pierog netted his second of the season depositing Clark Seymours rebound past Wolves goaltender Taylor Dupuis.
The Wolves continued to build on their lead in the 3rd period with their 3rd goal of the game less than 3 minutes into a period on a goal by Jacob Harris at 2:40 and Leivo netted his second of the game at 6:50 to make the final 4-1 for the Wolves.
