Petes win 10th in a row at home

Steve Downie had 3 assists and Trevor Cann made 27 saves for his sixth win of the season as the Petes beat the Oshawa Generals 4-2 in front of a season high 3907 Memorial Centre faithful.
After a scoreless first period, Patrick Kaleta got the Petes on the board with his 8th of the season at 9:20. Trevor Hendrikx netted his 3rd of the season to give the Petes a two goal lead at 13:13, and the Petes took a 2-0 lead into the dressing room.
Daniel Ryder pocketed his 13th of the season 5:30 into the third to put the home team in front 3-0 before Cal Clutterbuck got the Gens on the board at 9:30. Jamie Tardif restored the Petes 2 goal lead at 15:17 getting his 14th of the season. The Gens would get one more by Peter Tsimikalis to close out the scoring.
