Petes lose 5-0 in Nations Capital

The Peterborough Petes lost 5-0 in the the Nations Capital as the home town Ottawa 67's came at the Petes hard and often.
Jamie McGinn opened the scoring 6:07 into the first period and Logan Couture scored his first of the game at 15:32 to give the 67's a 2-0 lead after one.
The second period was similar to the first as Couture scored his second of the game, and Derek Joslin increased the 67's lead to 4-0 after two.
New comer Joe Grimaldi scored 4:46 into the third to give the 67's a 5-0 lead, and goaltender Danny Battochio closed the door stopping all 36 shots he faced.
The two teams meet again tomorrow night in Peterborough.
