The Peterborough Petes beat the Oshawa Generals 7-2 to sweep their three game weekend outscoring their opponents 18-4 in the three games to extend their winning streak to five games.

Jordan Morrison opened the scoring for the Petes at 10:15 of the first and Lubomir Stach scored his 4th of the season at 16:50 to give the Petes a 2-0 first period lead.

Peter Tsimikalis got the Gens on the board just 1:33 intot he second, but after that it was all Petes as Justin Caruana, Jordan Staal and Morrison would score for the Petes to increase their lead to 5-1 after two periods of play.

Morrison would complete the hat trick 4:18 intot the third, and Justin Soryal would score his third of the season to give the Petes a 7-1 lead. Kelly Thompson narrowed the Petes lead at 11:09 to make the final Petes 7, Generals 2.

Notes: Attendance 3521. Three Stars Jordan Morrison (3g, 1a)(1st), Jordan Staal (1g, 1a)(2nd), Justin Sawyer (3rd). Morrison will be a candidate for the OHL Player of the Week this week recording 5 goals and 4 assists in 3 Petes wins.
