Drafted by the Petes in the 2nd round, 28th overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection.
Played minor hockey for the Whitby Wildcats where he was coached by OHL Commissioner David Branch in his Minor Midget season.
Father Sean played in the OHL with the Toronto Marlboros from 1985-88 where he had Petes Head Coach Mike Pelino as an Assistant Coach.
Recorded his first OHL point on September 24th, 2010 at Oshawa Generals.
