Drafted by the Petes in the 11th round, 207th overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection from the Guelph Jr. Storm minor midgets.  Spent the 2010-11 campaign with the Guelph Hurricanes Jr.B. club of the GOJHL.

Recorded his first OHL point on September 29th, 2011 vs. Belleville Bulls and his first OHL goal on December 9th, 2011 at London Knights.

Is a natural "Lefty".
